Bloomingdale Library Renovation Underway
Construction of interior upgrades at the Bloomingdale branch of the New York Public Library, including BA’s design for a new dedicated Teen Room, has commenced.
Carved out of the existing library at 100th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, this intervention will provide a separated, sound-buffered space for use by local middle school and high school-aged kids.
Other BA-designed renovations to the branch include new ADA-compliant restrooms and mechanical upgrades.
Construction is expected to be complete in 2020.
