With a diverse background in design and academia, Bernheimer partnered with Jared Della Valle in 1996 to form the award-winning architecture practice Della Valle Bernheimer. In 2011 Bernheimer founded his own firm, Bernheimer Architecture PLLC.  He is an Assistant Professor and was formerly the Director of the Master of Architecture Program at Parsons the New School for Design in New York.
